Welcome to the Morck Hotel. Currently under renovation, the Morck was originally built in 1924 as the centerpiece of Aberdeen. Under the direction of Aberdeen Development, Limited Liability Corporation, work has been to renovate the 82-year old hotel along with major portions of the two blocks in and around the immediate facility of the hotel.

When completed, the project will involve a $12 million renovation of the Morck Hotel and additionally will provide over 50,000 square feet of retail space. Plans call for a 125-seat steak and chop house, an 85-seat urban bistro and martini bar, the resurrection of the Highlander Lounge in the hotel, a coffee shop, destination day spa, state-of-the-art brewpub, galleries, a book store, florist, a 300-car, multi-level parking structure and up to 50 market-rate condominiums. When completed the project is estimated to have a value of over $30 million. Follow our progress as we restore an Aberdeen landmark to its former glory.
